Unrouted Editions is the publishing imprint of Without Compensation LLC, a Washington literary press. The press takes its name from a server folder on a high-impact anthropological journal — a peer-reviewed academic publication whose NIH grant was terminated by executive order in February 2025, and which closed after issuing its first and final issue.

The editorial staff of Unrouted Editions are former contributors and reviewers of the journal, working without compensation on a freelance basis until further notice.
